$8,100 in Prize Money and Trophies will be awarded as follows:
- Grand Champion: $1500 + World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest (2009) registration fee and trophy
There will be 3 prizes in each category (whole hog, shoulder and rib):
- 1st – $1,000 and trophy
- 2nd - $700 and trophy
- 3rd - $500 and trophy
Judging Times
(Times are for Saturday, April 19)
Whole Hog: 10:00 a.m.
Pork Shoulder: 11:15 a.m.
Pork Ribs: 12:30 p.m.
